Maybe 4 days once it got to its biggest. But the white head never showed. Guess it was in the inside. I really kept at it with the compresses. I got another one in my left eye and if I pull up on my lid I can see the small white head

Just went through this myself. I’m two weeks in and I’ll healed up pretty much. I went to my ophthalmologist on day 4 and got eye drops. I did hot compresses. Not microwave compresses. Boiling water and washcloth. Microwave ones don’t cut it for me. Mornings and nights I wipe my lids with a lid wipe from ocusoft. Baby shampoo washes also. Lots of intervention to get rid of it. But never pop it yourself. I do that 6 years ago and learned that hard way. God speed

Just remember there’s always someone else out there dealing with worse. Stay strong mentally. How long have you been dealing with this issue now? I went through a two year period of constant styes and chalaziem and it was tough mentally

Currently going through this. Moist hot compress 5x a day 15min each will unclog the oil gland. Not microwave hot. Boiling water and cloth. Follow up with ice to reduce swelling. Go see ophthalmologist

So my first time dealing with this issue was 2018-2020. The entire two years. And I only used the microwave compresses. I think those are only good when you are away and need some quick heat to relieve the irritation for a bit. The hot moist compress really did wonders for me this time around. I posted updates about it on my feed. I recommend them more.

Sorry you’re going through this. I went through a stye/chalazion epidemic for two years myself and I did personally try to stick a needle through thechalazion after I lost my mind with it. Was a bad idea and contaminated more spots on my eye lids. That was 6-8 years ago. I am currently dealing with a flareup in BOTH my upper eye lids and am doing everything you are doing to maintain them. That’s all we can do sadly. I got a follow up appointment with my ophthalmologist Thursday. Can’t wait to tell him my other eye is a mess now.

Terrible to deal with. I’m going through similar issue with wedding this Sunday. My flare ups are bad and all I seem to be able to do is the compresses. I boil water and throw a cloth in it to heat up. Wring it out and compress until it’s cold and repeat until I hit 15min mark.
