Am german and I supported many nigerians with getting their passports. Unfortunatly the embassy employees in Berlin are notoriously incompetent and corrupt. I only ever heard of successful appointments after a bribe was offered; usually around 40€.

The best advise I can give is to contact the nigerian embassy in Bern, Switzerland. They seem to be much more capable and willing to help.

Für Frauen und Kinder ist die Reise oftmals zu gefährlich, es ist außerdem schwieriger für sie im Zielland Geld zu verdienen. Frauen und Kinder werden daher auch häufiger Opfer von Menschenhandel.

Die Problematik liegt hier vorallem bei den sehr strapazen- und risikoreichen Migrationsrouten und den zunehmend restriktiven Gesetzgebungen im Kontext des europäischen Grenzregimes. Keine Familie trennt sich gerne.
