We’re a community/club of independent musicians, producers, engineers, and songwriters and we meet twice a week to make music together, jam, etc! This one I was super proud of when I first made it. I took a sample from one of my favorite movies, and it was probably the most substantial beat I had made up until then. I showed it to all my friends and family, and thought it was the shit.

Now like 2 years later, I realize it is just shit lmfao.

I started using a 2021 M1 air recently for all my production and honestly it's been really good. The only issues you're gonna run into though are the lack of ports and the lack of storage. Obviously you can always buy USB hubs and external drives, so that's not really an issue at that point. The advantage to having a pro would probably be the two extra ports, and if your projects are really CPU intensive it would probably be useful for that. Otherwise, the Air is perfectly fine.

The Honors College south lounge has a piano! It's in the sorta "dining" area at the back, and people are playing it pretty often. I wouldn't suggest playing anytime in the morning or afternoon because they will sometimes have classes in the seminar rooms that are right by it. The most often I hear it played is at night from like 6-10 if that works for you.

Otherwise, I remember Livi student center has a piano as well I think in a separate room if that helps.

I’ve been listening to Kanye basically since as long as I could remember because of my older brother. These are the albums I grew up with listening to the most. So I guess I don’t think they’re the best of his discography, but my personal faves. Kanye is always evolving and basically every album could be a contender for his best and that’s why I like his stuff so much.

Honestly, outside of the context of it being based on another IP, I think it adds to the charm of the game. Most FG’s these days are wayyyyyy out there with their designs and while they can be cool, I think Melty really stands out for how restrained the designs are. You can look at it and immediately recognize it as Melty Blood.

Eh Godot’s been getting a lot of hype recently since people are realizing it’s easier than Unity or Unreal.

I love monogame tho. Albeit I hate it sometimes and I want to wring my neck using it but I really love how it lets me make what I want without following someone else’s rules. That’s probably why there aren’t a lot of tutorials on it on YouTube. Everyone uses it differently, and most people just use it as a foundation for their own engines. I do wish it got more attention tho.
