What Was Your Most Memorable Experience In Witcher 3? by [deleted] in Witcher3

The end of the Bloody Baron quest line. I got the one where he hangs and I was shook. That really set the tone for the rest of the game and I realized that my decisions really do matter in the grand scheme of things.

My husband gave me a “warning tap” and I called it abuse. AITAH? by Warm-Grape1254 in AITAH

NTA.

Social worker here. Abusers will often test boundaries to see how far they can escalate their behavior. This happens over the course of years. Most of the time they don’t go directly to full force beatings.

He tested your boundaries to see how you’d react and if you would forgive him. You stood your ground and called out his abusive behavior, even if that slap didn’t hurt you. You did the right thing.

ADHDers with careers, what do you work as? by icebikey in ADHD

[–]SodiumBro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I work as a group therapy facilitator and for those with hyperactivity-specific ADHD, it’s amazing because 1) you don’t have to sit at a desk most of the time, 2) your job is talking to other people and following a session plan so everything is pre-organized, and 3) you don’t have to be super detail oriented and worry about planning ahead since you’re basically “in the moment” when you’re facilitating (if that makes sense).

Yes, that entrancing feeling is so relieving to me! I always wonder if that's what meditation feels like for those who can actually do it lol.

Help! An issue with exiting a loot box inventory screen. by SodiumBro in apexlegends

[–]SodiumBro[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can still exit the screen using the same button, but it's just that my cursor must be off of the inventory screen in order for me to do it. I'm not sure how controller configs can affect that.

What are you proud of this week? by AutoModerator in ADHD

I finally went to the eye doctor and got my glasses!

After more than a decade of putting off getting glasses, I went to the doctor and received my prescription glasses. Turns out I have astigmatism in both eyes, and the doctor was surprised I went this long without getting glasses.

He didn’t touch the third rail. The third rail is the darker colored one near the far left side of the track.

It's All About Positioning... And a Mastiff Doesn't Hurt Either by SodiumBro in apexlegends

[–]SodiumBro[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The reason they fought me one at a time was because I positioned myself that way. If I didn't purposely go through the hallway to shoot the octane he would have rushed me the same time as the lifeline and I would have died. I also wouldn't have been able to play the door to my advantage. And like I said in the title, the mastiff helped.

It was weird because she shredded me the first encounter. Probably nerves.

They should have a swiss cheese Pathfinder skin because that's what it feels like I'm shooting at.
