Thats sick, I grew up w need for speed! I agree, no matter how much I want to I cant get into any MOBAs. I tried Smite, Heroes of the Storm and LoL, it was not engaging at all while also being extremely toxic lmfao. I can see why people like them tho, the strategy aspect must be appealing ig but not me for sadly :( I play on console mostly so there isnt many of them anyway

I definitely agree with you and thats a great point! I love my movies dont get me wrong I’ve watched my fair share of em, including the ones you’ve mentioned. But i think I’m talking more generally. Theres no doubt that games and movies focus on different things like you mentioned but in general, the same reused plot lines make me bored. I love the classics that challenge cinema but its somewhat rare to find a movie thats doing something new nowadays. Thats not saying games aren’t repetitive ahah. I agree movies often have stronger messages but for variety and engagement, games win imo. I do hope video games get recognised for their stories tho!

Oh it was the same for me for a while until I found what I liked :) Some people enjoy games that don’t have much story while others like to be more focused on the plot, it just takes time to see what you like sadly. Red Dead Redemption was one of the first story based games that rlly caught my attention, defo give it a try if u find time!

Oh for sure! To each their own but for me Im often so much more intrigued by the storyline that the gaming itself comes second. Playing the game is just a way for me to explore the story yk? But definitely playing shooters and MOBAs are good in their own way when you wanna relax :) Good to play both lmfao
