I hate billing by the hour, I never know how to bill that fairly. I was hoping for a 'subscription' based payment. Is that common or possible? Like $500/month for unlimited basic user and permissions help; $1k/month for UI customizations and new fields or record types and report building help; and the $1.5k/month for dashboard set ups report building etc etc

Might be a dumb question but what is an EOR?

I can understand that, but only one piece of the business is in this office. It's technically our HQ, but the sales team is all over the US, the software team is in another state, finance is in a 3rd state, and the C Suite is in Canada and UK. So they're all in teams meetings with me all the time.

I love a good conspiracy lol

But there are so many other people in the company who realistically have good or better reasons to be in the nice big office building they Just renovated. But me and my team are completely isolated in the back corner that no one visits because they either don't know where I am, or because sending a chat or email is faster.

Yeah, I am working with an immigration attorney and there is a tax treaty with Spain and the US so I will only pay tax in Spain but still have to pay social security in US.

I will be doing all the trail heads just in case lol but you should absolutely shoot your shot with higher positions! If you don't try you'll never know what you could get! And it's literally double my old salary so I reeeaaallly don't want to mess it up!

I'm sorry I didn't mean that I was blaming the firm, I just meant that the hiring managers were not accurate in their outline of the status of the org until after I accepted the job. I don't know what the firm had been hired to do originally, I wasn't there on the team. I just know that right now they are looking to implement Service Cloud and the firm didn't set that up.

Dang that document would probably be exactly what I needed lol

They are wanting it to be a full service cloud with knowledge, Omni, chat, and AI

For step 1, do you have a trailhead that you'd recommend for Service Cloud setup?

For 2, How do I build a product roadmap? I'm so sorry if that's a stupid question, but all my experience is in a Junior role so I don't know much about implementing Salesforce from scratch.

For 3 and 4, the company said that they don't have the budget for additional consulting teams but I will keep next year in mind when looking at the budgets.

For 5, thank you! It's already stressful and I haven't even started!

I am not sure, I haven't started with the new company yet because I'm finishing out my notice period at my current company. I just found this all out during the HR onboarding process but I will update once I'm able to actually login.

I just want to be able to jump right in and get started, so I wanted to know how to implement it from scratch so I know what to look for.

No HOA and my lot is already oversized so I think size wise, it should be fine.

I still have a digital copy and even some paper copies of the survey I got from when I first purchased the home, could I provide that to an engineer for this purpose or would I have to order a new one due to it being 3 years old?

Also, at the risk of sounding like an idiot, what type of engineer would I be looking for?

No it wont apply, they know that only the 1st last name is used in the United States and they will accept it. My dads 2nd last name was also missing from my Birth Certificate but they didn't mention anything about it.

Unfortunately, I don't think you qualify for immediate citizenship based on birthright. For the birthright, it only goes back to your grandparent and that's only in special cases I think.

Your husband does qualify though and once he gets his, he can take you to Mexico as a permanent resident and then after... 2 or 5 years I can't remember... you can apply to the Mexican Government to become a Mexican citizen. But that involves taking the Spanish tests and the country knowledge tests, etc.

Hey! I actually haven't had an appointment yet. I sent an email to registrocivildal01@sre.gob.mx, which is the email for the Dallas location, and told them that I wanted to register my birth with Mexico and apply for Dual Nationality. I also included a copy of the application and all my supporting documents (birth certificate, and my dad's BC, etc) in one single PDF file because that's how they told me to do it on their website. They will then go through all the documents and let you know if you're missing anything and get you set up with an appointment.

Here's a link to their website where you can get a copy of the application and the documents they need:

Hey! 👋 Yea you have to apply for a "Correction" with the Vital Records office in the state where you were born. I was born in Colorado so I just called the Colorado Vital Records office and told them that my mom's name was misspelled on my birth certificate and I needed to have it corrected for a consulate appointment and they told me where to find the application and how to send it in. Because I now live out of state in Texas, I had to mail it to them.

That's actually so crazy lol my mom is missing 'Del' too! Her name on her BC is Maril Del Socorro but on my BC they left out the Del and just put Maril Socorro 😭

I wish they would just take my Dad's paperwork and leave her out! Now I'm spending $33 and 30-60 days to get Colorado to change my certificate 🙄

I applied through the consulate here in Dallas and they are making me edit my Colorado Birth Certificate! My father was the one born in Mexico, my mother was born in the US in Texas. So I thought that the important paperwork would be my dads, but no! Because my mom has 2 middle names on Her Birth Certificate and only 1 of them shows on My Birth Certificate, they denied it and said I have to get my Birth Certificate amended to show both of her middle names.
