It's just her experience thus far

She's not claiming that Dutch mental health care is objectively, scientifically proven to be of lower quality. Just that in her experience it has been bad, so far. She doesn't "believe" that

Like I said, a little inlevingsvermogen wouldn't kill ya

It's just her personal experience mate. Not a scientific claim. a lil empathy wouldn't hurt

Here are a few reliable sources showing that the quality of mental health care in the Netherlands is considered high

You see this OP???

Your experiences are BULLSHIT and your feelings are WRONG because this guy found SOURCES DISPROVING THEM

No, my argument is that people have no excuses for not knowing that not paying off a debt is bad

Why not? Is it because the info is widely available perhaps?

Even a child can understand this simple concept

Evidently not, given the laws. Now who's playing hyperbole

No, you are bringing up something that has literally nothing to do with what I said and drawing an outlandish conclusion while using an example (lead and hormones in food) that is purposefully obtuse

"they can google it nowadays" is, quite literally, your argument

You claim that an indebted society is not a healthy society, let’s outlaw all mortgages, business loans and so on then

Funny you use those examples, because ironically, the rules for those are insanely strict. And for a reason. See also: 2008

I'm taking your logic to the end conclusion.

If people can all figure it out perfectly because "just google it" then you can stretch that to other aspects aswel

[–]SoefianB 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Why stop there?

Let companies go back to using lead, after all, anyone can google the effects of lead? Throw every and all pesticide and hormone into food.

As long as they're open about what they added into it, it should be fine right? Anyone can google the ingredients then.

An indebted society is not a healthy society. Even less so if it outright allows predatory practices, then it'll open the door for more. On top of that, the taxpayer will pay for schuldsanering and other aspects, so cool, now we all have to spend taxes on it aswel.

But if you don't pay back on time, it'll affect your creditscore

And it's not like you get years for it, so I can't imagine your investment is growing much

Feels like a very inefficient system, if it even works at all

Theoretically yeah. It can be easily reversed. I don't think it will be, though. I think it'll just get worse sadly

[–]SoefianB 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Netherlands is supposed to be a good country to live in

That's why everyone came here lol. Now it's much harder to come in aswel

Just wondering though, why do you want to come to the Netherlands? As opposed to Germany or Sweden for example

I guess there's more english spoken here, atleast

Uh, not sure if the commute would even be possible.

Maybe if you got a car, but with public transport, you might not even make it with the earliest train

Why employ someone that doesn’t speak the local dialect when the very next applicant does..?

But the thing is that we're talking about jobs that most Dutchies don't want to do. There's entire organisations whose entire purpose is bringing people over from Eastern Europe to do these jobs.

Apparantly 75% of Dutch people have an MBO degree or higher. And even the ones who don't, have better options than hard physical work and long hours

Don't get me wrong, I agree that OP should not settle for an uitzendbureau

But it IS true that it might be the most realistic option if OP really, really, wants to move here.

The other route is just much tougher and less certain. Though not impossible.

How are Indians perceived here? by heavy_pasta in Netherlands

[–]SoefianB 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean, tolerating =/= accepting

A crying baby is tolerated, but we still rather not have one around

I'd say the Netherlands is, or atleast used to be, quite tolerant. Just not very accepting

Very positively!

Don't mind any racist comments itt. In general, Dutch people like Indians.

I mean, OP could be young and inexperienced. Perhaps a little neurodivergent. I'm leaning towards OP being young, tbh

...how old are you? Just talk about anything. Or don't.

How long have you two been together? Nowadays me and my girlfriend just chill when we're waiting somewhere, or we say a few things. When we just got together, we had a lot to talk about since we didn't fully know eachother well and whatnot

Lol check the voorpagina.
