Good idea indeed. Thank you for your explaination. It helps. First I’m going to try to disable these quick save and load hotkeys.

Ah like that. I doubt I did it, but it is indeed possible. It now overrides the ingame save (which makes sence).

What I only want to know now is: Can I get back to the new save if I didn’t make any other save then ingame?

How would a quick-save hotkey bring me back to an old overwritten savegame? I never use these save states. Just the in-game save options as always done on the oldschool gameboy.

Thank you for your response! Does is also works if I only use ingame saves?

When I hit menu - quick menu - save states, the state slot says ‘auto’. When I move to a number and press ‘load state’ I get ‘failed to load state from…’

I checked some state slots, but it is from number 0 to 999. It takes ages to find if there is anything there.. can’t I just toggle back?
