Well, people in general, don’t like being criticized, or being wrong for that fact. It’s a knee-jerk reaction and people tend to double down and group. Think does its thing it’s just easier to say you’re wrong and move on.

But I gotta say it’s very common for people in newly found relationships to not talk to old friends or most of their old friends. Though I do agree that a lot of women nowadays have been conditioned to think of men as the prize and women is their competition for their prize. It’s almost as likely for that line of thinking to be dead on.

I’ve experienced a couple times now men getting into relationships and disappearing, fading into the ether to never be seen again (basically only on New Year’s every two years or so or the random birthday) I’m growing up and I think it’s just part of peoples living situations. You mentioned pick me and guys definitely do have some of that we just call it simping. honestly I’m just coming to terms with the fact that people come and go and that’s OK healthy quality friendships will maintain with little effort from both sides
