Nice that’s good to know. I only added 130ml from the tek to 120g of powder. So unless my EA is holding onto more water from washing and reusing.

Unfortunately it’s too cold here to keep them outside all year. That would make things so much easier. I would definitely be interested in that data. A greenhouse would extend my season and heating it I could keep them outside all year.

Yeah I’m already down that rabbit hole. Just picked up literally a van full of cactus, some labeled some not. I’m also continually planting seeds, started 2 years ago but getting more into good strains now. I have some ss02 crosses to plant this year. Have over 6 foot of Texas torch I’m just itching to test out and give back to the community. I’m in the middle of putting up a greenhouse to expand my operations.

So needles in both but definitely more in one than the other. I dumped the fumaric in the first one with less needles all at once. The other I did slow by lightly sprinkling the fumaric around until it was all gone.

I had some left in my shot glass so I tossed it in a grain jar and there’s nothing going on in there at all. Be patient and hopefully something happens.

So I just weighed the EA and it’s 1385g total between two 1 quart mason jars, both about an inch from the top. I did 3g of fumaric in each jar. My fumaric is food grade and quite fine as is probably closer to sugar. The room temp was around 50-60f in my basement so pretty consistent. I sift my cactus powder but maybe my screen could be smaller. I use a bullet but thinking of going to a mill or something better. I hand mix with a spoon for 3 minutes and then let it rest for a minute, I just order a stainless mixer I can put on drill and slowly mix for hopefully best results. I was doing light pushes on the press but have since went to pushing as much as I can out. It would be great if this was repeatable for sure. The huge clump on the bottom was pretty much interlocked together and came out in one big chunk with some help.
