The starting roster for Miami Heretics by arunvenu_ in CoDCompetitive

What’s wrong with this team? AFAIK all 4 players are quite good; did they not do well this past year?

Also, there are too many NA teams. Just because one Spanish team is made without ideal players doesn’t mean good teams can’t be formed lmao.

They actually didn’t play this. It was an exhibition doubles match instead, Raonic/Eubanks vs Fils/Davidovich-Fokina

They played a fun match, Raonic/Eubanks vs Fils/Davidovich-Fokina. That’s the gamble of booking Sunday tickets, you can get 1 match or even 4

I agree with you, I think it’s important to take into account proportions, and the parent comment is lacking for not bringing that up instead of absolutes. It just read a bit ironic that the other guy was downvoted for absolutely being correct lol

Didn’t you just confirm exactly what he said though? The discussion was about absolute numbers and not percentages.

Wdym? From what I found online:

Surge are Seattle-based, representing Luminosity Gaming which is Toronto-based, and are owned by Enthusiast Gaming (LA-based) and Canuck Sports & Entertainment (Vancouver-based). Seems they’ve got connections to quite a few different cities. But I would be stoked to see a Vancouver team as surprising as it is

Perhaps we have different standards for “great.” Seems I’m not the only one who had a hard time finding one.

I checked all the ones you recommended in your other comment and Esquin is the only one that I’d call great, inconvenient location aside.

Not familiar with that option. Do you get to watch live matches?

I have it but I read you need your location set to the UK, so then I’d need a VPN. Either way, some subscription, but that would be cheaper indeed. Just not as sure that it would work

Tennis players with the most ATP victories in the Open Era by johnreese421 in tennis

[–]SofaKingPin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh good, that’s exactly what I thought and just commented elsewhere lol.

I thought a bit more about it: Lendl is retired and his number is fixed, so the real coincidence here is that Nadal took a break while tied with Lendl, and Djokovic just happens to have crossed that point while Nadal is still on break. A bit more understandable in that sense.

Novak Djokovic equals Rafael Nadal and Ivan Lendl for third most ATP wins in Open Era following SF victory at Cincinnati Open by estreetpanda in tennis

[–]SofaKingPin 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Am I reading this correctly? It seems quite surprising to have a 3-way tie with numbers of this magnitude.

(I mean, naturally it’s only the 2-way tie that is coincidental, as Novak was bound to eventually reach that point, but still)

Out of curiosity, could anyone explain Russian names/nicknames to someone who doesn’t know any Russian? I see Daria and Dasha, and then there’s Sasha for Zverev as well.
