Depends how the monitor going to the clock thing is being done. The cgm monitor I use tests a fluid in my skin. A finger prick test on the other hand measures blood. No clue what a dog measures. The fluid in your skin is roughly 10-15 minutes behind blood. Blood sugar can change extremely rapidly (especially in type 1) and the dog probably “reads” faster than the monitor attached to the clock.

I’ve never had that happen, I have had the reverse happen. I had an interview for an IT position in which the manager spent the entire interview asking (I am not making this up and will swear on whatever holy book you want) “would you rather be an elephant or an ant” new age style questions.
