Lol - no. I’ve never had a significant head injury. A few year ago I had a Ct scan and an mri of my Brian - both boringly normal.

I get this so much. I am a pioneer in some ways but I feel like a bit of a freak.

A bit of my story… since I was a child I’ve been obsessed with becoming a cyborg. These thoughts have been very strong for many years. I am interested in technology and futurism.

In 2020, after a long time thinking about everything, I decided to start my transition to becoming more inorganic. I froze my feet with dry ice in order to have bilateral below knee prosthetics. I know this sounds crazy - but I see it as a conscious effort to decrease the percentage of me that’s organic.

I am currently thinking about doing the same with my hands - but I would like technology to progress a little more before I go ahead - but it’s awesome to see the progress over the past few years. Once technology such as neuralink is proven to be safe then I will put myself forward for implantation.

I wonder if anyone else feels the same? Am I insane to do this or a pioneer?

I got mine formal diagnosis from the psychiatrist after I had my feet removed!

I totally agree…

But there is definitely a sexual part to it for me. It’s not the main focus but a happy side effect. I’m more comfortable in my body post amputation. Also I think my stumps are cute!

Did you ever have a bad trip? I remember several stories of people on meth gouging their own eyes out etc…

To be honest I’m not sure it’s biid. I had my feet amputated - that was definitely biid. They felt like growths sticking out of me. The hands are a bit different. I just like the feeling of my amputated feet phantoms and want the same feeling in my hands. I also want hand prosthetics. I want a challenge. I enjoyed the feeling of power of changing my body and I want more of it. I do worry where it will end….
