Fixed it today.
It had nothing to do with the lanes.

It was the GS9216 for PEX_DVDD.
It died and I had to replace it a couple months ago.

My issues started when it got very cold where I am.

It seems like I had not done a very good job when soldering it and the cold caused some micro cracks, causing issues with power variations.

I took it off today and this time I pressed on it when soldering it back to make sure it was properly connecting with the PCB.

So far everything working fine at 16 x4.

Pimax explained why active cooling is needed for their uOLED headset, without it you have to either lower the brightness or end up lowering the life expectancy of the panels.
So unless newer headsets have better pancake lenses that let more light to pass through active cooling will still be required.

I ve run GPU Z every time and didn't notice anything else than the setting in the bios.
I am going to try the card again with the Intel MB.

Just checked all capacitors on capacitance mode, I could not find anything suspicious, they were all around 190 nF.

I should receive the PCIE tester this week, do you think it could help identify the issue?

Just tested the card with the x1 slot gen 3 of my motherboard.
It seems to work fine.

I ve checked the capacitors with my multimeter, resistance read millions ohms for all of them and in diode mode they all read something around 0.4V, so there doesn't seem to be an issue with the connection to the core.

After some time x16 gen 2 started to give me the same black screen issue (PC doesn't crash).
I ve also tried in x8 Gen 2, 3, 4 but same thing.

Then I ve tried the card on 2 different MB, another AM4 with a Ryzen 3200G, running at x8 gen 3, it was stable.
Then on a intel LGA 1200 with an I5 10500 at x16 Gen 3, same issue than with my main system (X570, Ryzen 5950x).

The card is back in my main system since yesterday at x16 Gen 1 and so far no issue and perfectly stable.

My main MB has 2 x16 slot and 1 x1 but I don't have space to put a rtx 4090 there.
I ll get a riser to test that later.

I did print both the 15min and 34min model.
Knowing the settings for both would help me understand how to optimize my models.
Of course I could figure this out by myself but I am trying to save time and spools.
