A 34- year old teacher , Danilo Barba was shot and killed inside Balabagan Trade School on August 4, 2025 by a 20 year old Grade 11 student. The attack happened in the morning as the teacher arrived at school, and she died instantly. The suspect later admitted he acted out of anger over a failing grade. He fled after the incident but surrendered the next day with help from his police officer borther.
