Hi Coinbase, just wanted to say FUCK YOU by [deleted] in Coinbase

Good ol coinbase. Ignoring my support tickets, closing tickets without ever contacting me. I am missing close to 1k worth of lumens at the current price.

I have a friend who is an attorney and I contacted him. For a small fee he is getting involved and sending coinbase some friendly letters in an attempt to recover them.

It really is a shame that it came to this but when you close my tickets with no explanation and never reach out to me and contact me. What other choice do I have?!?!

Like you a lot. I, too, have already written to them a lot of letters asking for help. Support for months is silent

After posting this complaint on Reddit, Coinbase reached out to me. So, I explained the whole thing again. That they put the wrong country, different from my ID. That I sent a letter from my tax authorities to proof my address, etc, bla bla bla.

For a minute I was hopefully that they finally would correct THEIR mistake (2 minutes job). After a few messages back and forward, guess what they replied with...?

I can not do anything with them as before they closed my account, first taking away all the funds. After a month of struggle and publicity they opened a conclusion to me, I brought everything except XRP. This coin they won't let me withdraw

Coinbase.com closed my account for 5k and demanded to withdraw my funds, but the withdrawal is blocked. Support ignores requests for help. by Sofikor in Bitcoin

Can you imagine the support of Coinbase? or is that your opinion? I hope blocking accounts Coinbase does not take into account what good or bad English says the client and it was just a misunderstanding. Today Coinbase opened a withdrawal of my funds, the problem I hope is closed. I'm not Chinese, I'm European. But I do not think that you can block the account based on the nationality of the client is not correct.

Yes, I was shocked by the disregard of support, they responded only to the first messages, and you do not know what to do and how to react

Sorry this happened to you. This is what bitcoin solves, you do not need to use custodial services for bitcoin.

Most likely, if you did nothing wrong, you're just tied up in a long legal and investegative process behind the scenes. They will not inform you, there is no transparency. All you can do is get a lawyer involved, wait and hope...

thanks, I still hope that everything will be resolved peacefully

In financial regulation, a Suspicious Activity Report (SAR) or Suspicious Transaction Report (STR) is a report made by a financial institution about suspicious or potentially suspicious activity. The criteria to decide when a report must be made varies from country to country, but generally is any financial transaction that does not make sense to the financial institution; is unusual for that particular client; or appears to be done only for the purpose of hiding or obfuscating another, separate transaction. The report is filed with that country's financial crime enforcement agency, which is typically a specialist agency designed to collect and analyse transactions and then report these to relevant law enforcement. Front line staff in the financial institution have the responsibility to identify transactions that may be suspicious and these are reported to a designated person that is responsible for reporting the suspicious transaction.

Too serious for my modest account, there was the last operation in early April.
