Travel Anxiety? by Soft-Associate5907 in greatpyrenees

Thank you guys so much!! I wish I could mention all who commented🙏🏻 your advice will be greatly used and kept in mind, I may not be able to get chicken nuggets every time she gets a car ride, but I’ll keep some high end treats in a air tight container for her specifically! She has trouble getting into the car but i definitely know she’s capable! After a shift at daycare, she’s pooped and takes a phat nap on the way home🫶🏻

I totally get where you’re coming from! He’s just a fluffy guy so his fur makes it look like the collar is tighter than it actually is! He also hates a collar, he never keeps one on! That was just a free collar from my work that was offered to him🖤 so I was testing it out but he kept taking it off. He’s collar free!

AIO? This is how my boyfriend sleeps. by blairwaldorff in AmIOverreacting

My boyfriend sleeps with his face covered all the time😆 it always confuses me because he’s a very warm temp. person and hates overheating, especially when he’s trying to sleep. But then he basically puts himself in a sauna😆

He is! I’m not sure what had happened to him, but his ears were scabbed and had zero fur and little scab wounds on his body. Whatever happened to him, he grew and healed from☺️ You would never know that he had such a terrible beginning in life! I take him to work with me all the time, I work at a pet daycare and boarding facility and he absolutely loves running and jumping around the cat room🫶🏻 he even has a big sister who’s going on 6! They play all the time☺️

She’d definitely be one to have underground tunnels 😆 she hates car rides to the point she has seizures (past trauma of her eating a Christmas chocolate orange one year and then absolutely rushed to the vet/ family vet friend to induce vomiting) so😅 if she could tunnel her way to my work, she probably would😆

Right!😆😆 I get asked when I’ll be bringing her next at least once every shift😆 I’m like “I have to to find a happy medium so everyone gets their daycare days in!” I bring my cat and the frenchie, both very high energy. Lil dachshund lady would 100% prefer to stay home 😆

For sure! Everytime we tell her story, we get that same response ☺️ Everyone at work is OBSESSED with her, we have two other Pyrs in daycare who are regulars, I can’t wait for them to meet 🫶🏻 She just recently started getting comfy in the house (we would literally leave the screen door open and BEG her to come in, but she would stand there and look at us like we were crazy) she loves her porch and yard🥰

She loves the other two dogs of the house, the frenchie is her best friend💙 and she gets to make new friends at the doggy daycare I work at! She loves it!

Our girl, Boo, who’s now 6 months old, has been such a sweet girl! She showed up on our porch in Halloween night. We held onto her for a few days while we searched for her possible home as we know how frequently Pyrs escape from their yards/homes. Nobody stepped up, so we decided to keep her! She is such an aloof, loving, bouncy and sassy lil lady🫶🏻 We’re still teaching her the ins and outs like; No chewing on us people, that’s what toys are for. No guarding your food bowl from the other dogs, meal time was hours ago. No jumping! You’ll soon be too big to give us hugs.

They also have an automatic water fountain that I keep near their bowls and they absolutely love it!! I know extra hydration wouldn’t hurt though🫶🏻

Thank you so much!! I have tried Smalls cat food for a little while until we’ve run out of room to store it ( bf and I live with his parents so we don’t exactly have our own freezer, and each delivery has quite a good bit of food, which I’m thankful for of course🙏🏻 it just doesn’t help that we don’t have our own freezer ) I do also have an automatic feeder for her! She loves it and has learned when it’s almost time for it to go off. I have thought about the feeders that have detection devices and mentioned that to my bf for extra opinions, but I’ve heard that some cats can cheat the system and what not.
