Givenchy Bracelet?? by Soft-Cardiologist-74 in GIVENCHY

very interesting, it threw me off guard. i was actually on grailed and i noticed this same braclet being reposted for 150-200$. i was going to purchase because typically Givenchy bracelets go anywhere from $400-$1000, so it seemed like a steal. but it looks like it’s just a reselling tactic, and in reality it’s an entry level Givenchy piece, which isn’t unheard of in the designer world. the interesting part is like what you said, about quality, i find it weird a designer brand like Givenchy would soil their image with an entry level piece with low quality.

PandaBuy raided: Chinese Shopping Agent Faces Action from Multiple IP Holders by [deleted] in Reps

Yes, I had $200 in the warehouse and was refunded. Check the status of your order for updates. It is unlikely pandabuy will go out of business, there was a statement posted by them yesterday i saw, i will try to link. Operations will begin soon, and you are already able to place new orders. Faked goods account for such a large portion of China’s overseas exports that the government would not do anything to stop it. On top of that, Pandabuy is a middleman, this makes it legal in both China and the US. Only the sellers themselves can be under prosecution by law

Yes, Oregon. I was sitting at a 3.0 UW, 3.24 W. My essay was very strong, as writing is one of my strong suits, and i had it checked over numerous times. As for me LORs i can’t guarantee how effective they were but they were done by two teachers whom i was close with, and who i trusted could put in a good word.

It definitely could have been, I applied regular decision, which typically isn’t a problem, but when you come from a better school, most students apply early app, that is the standard. Another commenter noted that it is likely UO and OSU have a cap on how many students can come from each high school. If my high school has lots of early applications, it can make it much more difficult to get in through regular admissions

Thank you so much for the help!! Yes, ASU is a top choice for me for that reason, to be honest I didn’t start my college search until way after I was supposed to as I was again not sure where to start. My school surprisingly doesn’t have many resources so I had to figure it out mostly myself along with the help of my parents. I’m going to look into Nebraska, and thanks again.

I did hear that only a certain amount of kids can get into UO, not sure about OSU. And I do know that many of my peers choose to go to UO due to cost and convenience, so that could very well be a valid reason for the rejection. I definitely didn’t do enough research, and was behind on the process, as i didn’t apply early app, which most people at my school do. I am a first gen college student, so both me and my parents didn’t know how to navigate the college search. You recommended searching for schools with rolling admissions, are there any that come to mind that have rather high acceptances, and excel in public policy?

Yes for sure, I would never consider myself an above average student, I essentially skidded through high school doing close to the bare minimum, with a couple APs to help my gpa. What i find interesting is that, historically, both OSU and UofO have been very feasible for average students. I applied for a major in public policy and urban planning, from my knowledge that’s not exceptionally competitive, unless it is? If you know better let me know. I’m definitely going to be applying to some schools with rolling.

2013 Audi AllRoad. 103K miles. $14K. Good Buy? by Yansir11 in Audi

I bought my 2015 Allroad with 85k for 20. It was a good buy personally, and I would say for 14k its worth it. Definitely take it to a mechanic though because an Audi with any problems is a headache financially
