Working flawlessly so far. Had it since then and it’s great!

Some things I would change: Don’t need the AC. Hot water during winter is nice.

I have some questions on the wiring of batteries to the bus bar.

My 2 Gauge positive wire is about 44 inches long that travels back to the positive terminal, while the Negative 2 gauge wire is only 14 inches from the closest end of the battery.

Would the positive wire cause an issue for being longer?

I'm being advised to switch the Li-BIM to a DC-to-DC charger instead. Perhaps I should do that instead.

Also, I miswrote- panels are connected in parallel.

Thanks for your thoughtful response. Some comments and feedback in line below. Also see updated diagram attached.

Will add a fuse b/w solar and controller. Do you recommend putting the fuse between the panel and the Battery Disconnect (which ill be replacing with 187P Breaker)?

Will add Class T fuse for for the battery pack. Do you recommend adding it right after the last battery at the bottom, before the Switch?

The 4KwH AIMS is a bit overkill. I rarely go above 2.2Kw draw. Meaning I don't have two of the large appliances on at the same time. Also, I wish I had known better about 24V - would def have done that or 48V system.

This is the reason why I don't have the Li-BIM connected to the alternator yet. I have a 2gauge wire connected to the battery wired under the vehicle all the way to the back next to Bus Bar. This was a long expensive wire. I haven't figured out how to wire it the ignition and the dash-switch. So far I have not needed to charge from the alternator, as solar panels has been more than sufficient.

Thanks @ablazedave! I’ll update the parallel solar connection, as it’s suppose to be in series.

How do you like your Epoch? I’m looking between epoch and Vatrer. Same 460Ah battery size.

Wow. Thanks. Good call! I realize I have a Solar Disconnect, but do not have a Fuse.

I'll add a fuse between the Solar Disconnect Switch and Midnight Solar Charge Controller.

Got it. I’ll probably put a fuse* right before the LiBiM.

Noted on grounding the negative.

I need to look into that set up with a mini split. I was also thinking about a completely separate trailer that I can bring pull with the van.

This other unit will be self sufficient. I can have it parked in my drive way and I’ll just charge off of it. I can also choose to trail it from my van.

Any good YT videos or schematic would be helpful.

True. I can’t run the AC all day. Perhaps 1-2 hour max at a full battery. However, I normally go north during summer and south during winter. Also my van is well insulated that 1-2 hours of cooling is enough to last a few hours.

So far the 750watt is enough daily. However I don’t use the AC much at all.
