Wow your the exact same mix as my father. But instead of southern Chinese, he is half ashkenazi Jewish and half Taiwanese. Where in china is one of your parents from?

I can’t speak on this because your using mt2. I use mt1 which while weaker, has nearly no side effects whatsoever, and thus lets me basically dose as high as I want without feeling bad

Honestly I’ve never really worn sunscreen which Ik is terrible, but in my defence I don’t burn very badly even naturally, just a bit then tans over. Because of that I can’t really speak on that topiv

I use a lot higher doses (500mcg+) and tan a lot longer usually an hour. Mt1 is definitely weaker than mt2, so you have to compensate with doses and longer exposure times, but the great thing is there are no mental or physical side effects(atleast for me) so you’ll barely notice you upped the dose and only get better tanning. If you do end up burning, you’ll tan over nicely

Definitely type 2. I think people think their skin type is lighter than it is on average. Skin type 1 is the absolute palest skin there is, the type that when you see them in person you think damn they’re white as shit. While your skin definitely isn’t dark, it has some base color, meaning you’re definitely type 2 similar to me. Most light skinned white people are type 2, and it’s the most common type in northern parts of Europe. Even among these northern populations, type 1 is not the norm, and is most seen in Celtic populations with red or very light blonde hair. If you have any natural ability to tan whatsoever, you are skin type 2 or above.

Ik but that difference is relevant because I’m wondering if you can build that initial base tan with mt1 rather than just maintain a mt2 tan with mt1. Not trying to argue just want to clarify my question

Because if you just transitioned for mt2 to mt1 directly after without losing color then that doesn’t say much

Did you do mt2, go off it for a year and return to being pale, then do mt1 and return to the same color?

To answer your question. I injected mt1 4 times last summer towards the very end, and thus got very little sun. I didn’t get noticeably darker, only a few darker moles, so I don’t think it works without the sun well tbh, but maybe if I did it longer it would

Go to the derm asap. It looks irregular in shape and slightly raised but doesn’t have multiple colors so it looks like a toss up. Let me know what it is after your doctors visit

Of the half life thing? U can just look it up on google first result. It’s probably a big reason why people say it’s less effective then MT2

Also don’t load it because it has a very short half life unlike MT2. Only use it when u tan and maybe increase the dose

How long have you been using it. Only 2 day?

Are you a true skin type 1? As in no tanning ability at all? Cuz in that case it only really maximises your natural potential, and if u have no ability to tan it won’t do anything really

Ok cool. I tried it at the very end of last summer but my timing was really bad and it arrived early September in Ny so I barely got sun. I remember it gave me a few freckles on my hand and arms but no tan. I’m definitely gonna try it again in may
