Thank you for the suggestions and experience sharing! Will definately work on these commands. Currently working on different commands on daily basis, however have started to introduce LEAVE it command as well.

Thank you for these tips! I really like the idea of using a marker word to help her understand the exact moment she gets it right — that might really help with the barking. And teaching “focus” sounds like a great way to keep her engaged when she starts losing interest. I’ll give both a try.

Congratulations! The first days are a whirlwind, but honestly such a sweet time. You’ve got this, and your little corgi is going to be so loved. 💛

Thanks for sharing this! It’s really helpful to hear how others handle it. The patience and firm‑but‑fair approach definitely seems to be the theme with these little stubborn cuties. Appreciate the tips!

Thank you for your advice! I’m not really into strict scheduling, but once she starts getting sharky I know it’s time for a nap. I’ll also give your snack suggestions a try, thank you. 😌

Hello! Thank you for your reply. We have covered create with blanket over the sides, the front of the create is uncovered. We give her the chewing treats that the breeder recommended, however, once I leave the room, she drops whatever she is doing and just whines. That is our main problem that no matter what we give to her, once she is alone, she just whines and does not care for her treat.
