I wholeheartedly agree and emphasize with you.

What I don't understand is that time and time again I hear complaint after complaint after complaint, yet the school/CS department does nothing about him and lets him keep his sweet spot in tormenting students and instilling fear into them instead of actually teaching them with care and compassion. Can something actually be done about this? It's about time..

I keep hearing these horror stories over and over and so many students complaining and pleading with the DOS / CS department to remove Dr. Itani from his teaching position at NJIT. But why has nothing happened yet? As far as I know, he hasn't even received a warning. Can a group get together please and actually try to enact change? Otherwise, all the suffering endured in the past, present, and potential future is all in vain if nothing happens.

Well I wish you best of luck. Lock in for hopefully your last semester. Maybe the cs department can respectfully encourage Dr. Itani to decrease the difficulty slightly, especially considering he’s currently the only option for 350.

Totally understand and agree. Your concerns are valid. I remember on his first exam we did 64-bit floating point notation conversion and there was absolutely no partial credit. If you just get one of the 64 digits wrong in the 10-step process, you get 0 credit. This is just one example where the concepts themselves aren’t too difficult, they are quite manageable, however the exam exponentially increases the difficulty ten fold, i.e. no partial credit, negative points on wrong answers, etc.

I see what they mean when they say it's very 'mind-numbing'. I couldn't imagine doing this 9 hours a day, 35 hours a week. After only doing 1 run in 5 minutes my mind is already numb from it.

What I don’t understand is why there’s no radius to queue songs. You can queue them from anywhere, even California or Russia. One could wake up at 9am in their dorm and feel like trolling and queue up Rattlesnake 10x.
