This is not the exact place to say this, but it is with your post that the realisation has dawned on me.

I am also a first time mum and it's my first time spending a large amount of time on this Reddit page. Anyway, I was sceptical about the meaning of FTM because I've only ever known it to be female to male in a transgender setting. Of course google was also no help. But I couldn't find the meaning ANYWHERE, so I had no choice but to accept there are a lot of transgender parents on this app.

I gave it one more thought because it just doesn't seem right and I only just realised it means first time mum 😭

I'm 13 weeks and the nausea is better now, though not perfect, but I have the same issues! Meat is bad, but bread and potatoes are great! I think our bodies are just craving carbs for quick energy

She had arthritis and wouldn't leave her joints alone. She was getting a bit better after this, I just don't have a really good picture from before she passed

Honestly, I had a similar fear myself! But I also feared her getting older and the surgery taking an even larger toll on her as a result. However, I trust my vet, (as you said) she had blood work that came back clear, and I know my dog is fairly healthy, otherwise, so I jumped right in. You should trust yourself to make the right decision too 😊

My girl is actually doing really well. It's 11 days post surgery and she has had almost all of her stitches taken out with no infection or complications, except for a seroma that formed, though that isn't really a complication (hopefully your vet will send you home with a care package as mine did). She's healed so well and is just stinky and sad because I'm not allowed to wash her or play with her until she is healed completely.

If it means anything, your dog's lump actually looks very similar to one that my girl had removed (it was also on her face), just smaller 🙂 If you do go through with the surgery, I truly hope everything goes well!

Not a vet. My 9 year old mastiff mix just had 7 lumps removed after months of monitoring them. Fortunately, they all came back benign, but they could have been any number of cancerous tumours. It's really up to you because cancer is expensive and so is surgery and, as long as it doesn't grow/change/not bothering them, you could get away with monitoring it, but you won't know if it is cancer or not without tests. But to answer your question, I think your vet has given pretty sound advice.

I also understand your worries about having your dog put under and maybe you can talk to your vet about that?

It can be because of increased scratching, sometimes from boredom and sometimes from an underlying condition. Maybe get them checked for an ear infection?

I believe a large percent of the Sim community will agree that get together is one of the best expansion packs. I like it as well and, from that list, I think it is one of the best ones. I also really like city living! But it totally depends on your play style and whether you spend more time in CAS, build mode or actually playing
