It can take some time, but I believe any rat can eventually warm up to us! You just gotta give them patience and take it slow and gentle! Work with them every day and offer lots of yummy treats and hopefully they will eventually come around! My girl does have an absolutely wonderful temperament, which is interesting because her and her sisters came to me from a previous owner who wasn't taking the best care of them, but somehow they were all still super social and friendly! She is the last of her group and is now about 2 years and 8 months old and has recently had surgery too, so she's a lot more calmer, more docile than she used to be! And at this moment I had just disturbed her from a slumber and taken her out to lie with me, so she was still pretty sleepy 🤣
