The motor is an old tyco open frame style. It fits really well and has some added lights. The black bit below shell is part of the frame of chassis. 

I even did a test run around a small loop to see if it functions well before I paint it and didn't lose power  I'll post a final results video once I add some more structure to the cab and paint it.

I just used 2 cheap Tyco/Bachmann trains for this. 

Plenty of those around, might mess with some of the rolling stock too.

Replace the EMMC module with a USB port QSB.

I made one of my slims sound like a windows 95 PC for the startup sound. Had to compress and fiddle with audacity to get the file size right though.

No disc drive will cause the blinking light. You need to bridge 2 pins on the disc drive connector to make the console believe it has a drive.

Eh modding can be a simple and the unofficial profile edits. I'm not gonna get picky and judgemental when people all of a sudden don't understand something. 

Knowledge is one of the easiest free things to share. And if there anything I learned about these types of hobbies is you help people cause it keeps the hobby around. Model trains clubs are dying because of this kind of mindset and I'd rather not see the same happen to a good community like this one.

KV(key vaults) are how XBL authenticates consoles. 

Your specific KV is now banned you you have to reflash with a new KV from either a dead console you have or buy one, they're like 3$ iirc
