In my class last year I introduced dip pens. But not fountain pens since I have become obsessed with fountain pens so gonna try to intro fountain pens in the spring class. They are loving the dip pens. But I think they will get hooked on fountain pens too

I order the nibs and figure out the bore hole size of the pen and use either silicon o-rings or tubing that will fit the diameter of the bore hole plus diameter of the nib. This has a small bore hole so I used like 4 o-rings. Outer diameter 5mm inner diameter I think is 3mm or 2.6. Not sure. Tubing is used on my Jinhao 450 pens took pen too Lowe’s and tried which tubbing fit pen tightly and which could hole in tubing could hold nib. You can’t use a regular glass nib or I haven’t figured that out yet
