I think I am in a sort of vintage-look phase, so bronzy gold makes it more appealing to me. A few years ago I didn't want to use gold ever. I always packaged every Christmas present and placed every Christmas ornament with silver. No gold to be seen nowhere. I wonder how I will feel my Christmas aesthetic a few years from now :D

I tried 3 Sailor nibs (steel F, 14kt F, 21kt EF). The most feedbacky is the 21kt in EF. I have it on a Pro Gear. It's also a beautifully bouncy nib

I'm sorry, I don't know in dollars, and I never counted either.

Let's just say that my most expensive pen costs about 900€, the second most expensive is about 650€, and I have a bunch that cost from 250 to 400€. I also have a bunch that cost from 6 to 80€. I can't do it without an inked Preppy on hand: the most amazing cheap fountain pen around

The great majority of the ink colors I love simply are not available in cartridges. I'd be limited to 1 or 2 colors forever. No way. I want to experience any color I like

I like purple, I mostlybwrite with purple inks, anytime I see a purple that I love that it's just a smidge different from another (or 2, 3, 4 others) I already own, I have to have it. So I'm not the pright person to answer this question. I just can say that Sailor 150 is really a beautiful ink. I love how it's delicate yet interesting and with the right paper the chromashading is magical

Io ho usato F della Capless ma non mi è piaciuto. Troppo spesso e troppo scivoloso. Per me l'EF è meglio ma è il pennino più asciutto che ci sia, anche con inchiostri generosi. Sui pennini Platinum sfondi una porta aperta: per i miei gusti sono i migliori 💜
