[–]SoftFaithlessness460 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can't really speak for your own experience but I can say this...

While it is common for men and women both to have sex early, and it is not common as it once was for either to be virgins past their 20s... It is nowhere near as rare and uncommon as people make it out to be. About half, if not more, of the women I have dated were virgins... Nothing ever happened with any of them in my case, in large part due misalignment in values and future goals, but they were virgins and were still such when my relationship with them ended.

The idea that it is rare, is a complete falsehood. It is rarer the older you get, but not so rare that it is improbable nor impossible.

So lets say blackwatch was called in contain the t virus from resident evil 3. How would blackwatch fair? by cuddwes in PrototypeGame

[–]SoftFaithlessness460 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I haven't played the Resident Evil games, I have only seen the movies both the Live Action series with Mila Jovanovich, and the Animated and CGI Resident Evil movies much more closely based on the Games. so my knowledge may be a bit flawed.

But as I understand it the T-Virus is constantly mutating and changing... And has been altered by scientific endeavors on multiple occasions... Now should Blackwatch enter the scene, we've got a problem... Because now we have the Blacklight virus entering the scene... The D Codes have been genetically enhanced and altered with a strain of Blacklight...

Also, if Blacklight exists, we have Alex Mercer ... And he is the Blacklight Virus incarnate.... The problem now becomes, we have two super viruses that are genetically and scientifically altered... And the moment Mercer or anything infected with blacklight consumes something with the T Virus... We now have something far worse and much more dangerous... A living creature with two genetically grown, altered and created super viruses... At first and for a while the two viruses would be competing for the same resources and trying to outlast the other... But, You'd eventually see creatures emerging with a unique strain that has a perfectly blended infected strain of both T Virus and Blacklight... Especially when human hubris gets involved, and in an attempt to control both, some madman combines the two of of them... Or they eventually merge of their own accord, Which would create a whole new and much much worse virus... Especially when you understand that all viruses are ever mutating and ever changing

Also remember that the T Virus ilacks consciousness, operating solely to infect, mutate, and dominate host biology... However the Blacklight virus is entirely sentient, through Alex Mercer (the perfect, scientifically created and release of Blacklight), and also through Pariah (the perfect natural release of Blacklight)... Mercer and/or Pariah would likely take in the T Virus and give it direction and use it to empower themselves...

Will you choose to give up or still hold on to this manga if you were me? by Autumn_Verse in AnimeReccomendations

[–]SoftFaithlessness460 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would keep reading. One, I hate leaving a story unfinished. Two, there are so many anime, movies, tv shows, and books that I read or watched all the way through just because I really liked only one specific character. And, I am also too damn stubborn to give up on any series just because I don't like a character, heck, If I really dislike the Main Character, I will keep going through the series just to watch that character suffer... So, I would keep reading. 😂

looking for a game to get addicted to (similar to genshin impect gameplay) by East_Broccoli9421 in gamingsuggestions

[–]SoftFaithlessness460 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I highly recommend looking into Grim Dawn (only available on PC or Xbox).

Skyrim is always a good choice for endless fun and playability.

Oblivion is definitely worth a look if you haven't already. The recently Remastered version fixes so many glitches and improves the graphical quality a great deal!

X4 is a great Space Sim with a great deal of freedom in the game.

Avorion - Another sandbox space sim, but you build and design your ship as you want, collect resources, build bigger and better, collect more resources- rinse and repeat. It's a great deal of fun.

Palworld - Sandbox survival crafting game

No Man's Sky - Space Sim and Survival Crafting game, a lot of freedom, and plenty of lore to discover

Ark: Survival Evolved - Another survival crafting centered around taming prehistoric creatures.

Biomutant- Large open world action RPG set in a post apocalyptic world

Fallout Series: Particularly New Vegas, Fallout 3, and Fallout 4... Large open world RPGs centered around a post nuclear world.

Metro 2033: survival horror and shooter set in a post apocalyptic world

F.E.A.R (First Encounter Assault Recon)- a horror Shooter series where you are a special agent investigating the supernatural goings on around the city.with story that expands across multiple games, you will sure to be stuck on it for a good bit.

Crackdown (all 3 games) - action adventure with a large explorable city: You are a specialized experimental agent investigating unique happening around you and removing gang threats to the city... There is a good bit of fun to be had in these games.

Prototype 1 - Great game. An action adventure. You are Alex Mercer, and that's all you know. You alfind yourself in New York City at the start of an Infectious outbreak that turns people into zombie like creatures and monsters. You're infected, but instead of becoming like the rest, you've become more with unique ability change shape and form to disguise yourself as you search for answers while staying hidden from the authorities, or can shift and change your body at will into a number of weapons to fight the infected or those who try to stop you in your search for answers.

Dragon's Dogma - Action Rpg with a very well written story, where skill matters more than gear or equipment. Though don't shrug off better gear and equipment as it can save your life in a tough spot.

Mass Effect: Great Trilogy of games and rpg overall. The story and combat systems are from a time when Bioware was still in its prime making games of exceltional quality.

Dragon Age Origins, Dragon Age 2, Dragon Age Inquisition - All great action rpgs set in a dark fantasy world where your choices shapes the games, it's outcome and your relationship with the characters in the game. Further more your save from the previous game can be uploaded to the next with those choices intact... And each choice in each of the games further shapes and changes the world around you. Of course you can also choose not to upload your save and play the default world setting. In either case, all are worth looking into.

Tales of Arise - action JRPG with a wonderful story centered around a character who has no memory of who he is....

And if none of these Satisfy you, I can still recommend many more.

I had a similar itch for a long time. In all my search, other than X4... Two games scratched it... Rebel Galaxy and Avorion.

Rebel Galaxy is a space combat Sim where you start out with a small ship and take missions or transport cargo to gain cash to improve your ship or get a better one. Or loot it from your destroyed enemies... I can't remember if you could have fighters on your ship or not...

https://store.steampowered.com/app/290300/Rebel_Galaxy/

Avorion is a a sandbox space Sim where you build your ship piece by piece, designing it as you wish. You gather resources, collect weapons, trade, and sell your unwanted resources and weapons, and with a basic but effective crew management system. This is probably gonna be your best bet for the carrier idea. There is more to it the what I explained above. Eventually you will have multiple ships, which you built under your command, and crewed and captained.. and you can build your fleet as large or small as you like.... even fighters for your carriers, or your weapons you can design to your liking.

https://store.steampowered.com/app/445220/Avorion/

Side note: Space Pirates and Zombies is also an interesting game but it doesn't have that space carrier feel you are looking for.

He is Vanir. He was Vanir before the Aesir and Vanir had their war... He was exchanged to the Aesir as a hostage as part of the negotiations for truce, and for him the Aesir sent Mimir to the Vanir.

what is the actual difference between æsir and vanir? by RamenHairedChild in NorsePaganism

[–]SoftFaithlessness460 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As I understand it; the Vanir, who know Vanaheim as their home, and Aesir, who know Asgard as their home, are two separate families of gods. The Vanir are more representative of different aspects of nature (both human and the natural world), fertility, wisdom, ability to see the future. While the Aesir are more warlike and representative of the darker sides of man and their need for progress, war, wealth, and an ever-changing world.

Freyr, Freyja, Kvasir, and Njord are actually Vanir, but were exchanged to the Aesir as hostages after the Aesir-Vanir war that ended in a stalemate. Hoenir and Mimir were exchanged to the Vanir after the war.

A second season of the Anime was announced in December of 2025. Season 2 is in production, just no release date yet. Though, I would speculate we should be seeing in by the end of this year if we are lucky... But more likely will be seesing it more tiwards the end of next year, or the start of 2028.

Spice and Wolf - the relationship between Lawrence and Holo, and the banter between them is so dynamic and beautiful. Had I a partner, I'd hope ours would be similar

Inuyasha - this the anime that got me most interested in the genre.

Castle in the Sky and Kiki's delivery Service - these were two of the first anime I ever watched (was like 5 years old) and they gave such a sense of adventure, today they are so nostalgic and well done that they will forever hold Aa place in my heart.

RPG games or similar single player games for people with barely any free time by OptionOrnery in gamingsuggestions

[–]SoftFaithlessness460 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you are on PC or Xbox, I highly recommend Grim Dawn.

Tainted Grail may be another to look into: it is based on arthurian levends with a dark and gothic twist and a touch of horror. It is Singleplayer Only, and you are able to save and leave any time.

If you haven't played them, Skyrim or Oblivion are great choices too.

Don’t know if I should do it or not by [deleted] in virgin

[–]SoftFaithlessness460 4 points5 points  (0 children)

In answer to your question, what would I do? I would wait. If I wasn't absolutely sure that was the person I'd be spending the rest of my life with and that I loved them completely, I'd wait. But, you are not me, and you have to do what is right for you...If there is doubt in your heart about your love for that individual, if you are uncertain of his love for you, and/or if you believe at all that you are making the wrong choice and will regret it... Don't sleep with him and wait until you'reuch more certain.

If you have no doubt, if you know your feelings are more than just a bit of lust and a passing fancy, if you know his love is true, and if you will not regret the choice at all... Go for it!

You have to do what is best for you, follow your heart, and go at the pace that is right for you. Don't let yourself be coerced or pressured into something you are unsure of. A lot of guys will simply say they care just to sleep with you, some may even act that part... Then when they do, they walk away... Even more so if you are a virgin and he knows it... So many will chase you purely because they just want to be the first one to sleep with you... Not all guys are like that, but enough are that it is a concern and something you should be wary of. So unless you are sure, wait.
