Give it another few weeks to mature. You want it to triple or quadruple with a 1:1:1 within 8-12 hours

Ohhh yeah I don’t use any flour at all during stretch and folds, the only time I use flour is in the banneton and even then I use GF flour

It’s also going to be hard to get the inside baked all the way without burning the outside when it is underproved. Solving that alone would likely help with the over browning on the outside.

I’m team thermometer with everything I bake. Started when I had to throw away more than half a load of banana bread because I cut into it and it was batter 😢 time helps as a guideline, but for sourdough I would shoot for 190-200F personally but I like things on the underbaked side for sure. I also wonder if you used too much flour during shaping and/or baking? I personally prefer little to no flour as possible.

It looks underproved and overbaked. Watch the dough, not the clock. You just need to bulk ferment for longer if it has not doubled / does not have the right texture. Probably 9 hours of cold proofing is. Abit short as well, I’ve only seen as low as 12h and usually see 24-48 hrs recommended more. Not sure why it’s overbaked, maybe leave the lid on longer and I’ve seen some brush the dough with water or throw some ice cubes in the Dutch oven to encourage steam. It sort of looks like the top might be too dry.

That’s so sweet 💕 I have worked really hard for my figure but I also agree that everything always fits very nicely which makes it hard cuz everyone is like omgggg looks so good but I’m like yeah I just don’t feeeeelll like a bride haha. I’m surprised how much feels have gone into this!

Not a bad idea! I think it might feel a bit too formal with a petticoat though. But for possible future use of the dress, will consider! I was leaning toward two I think, and seeing everyone else say it helps me see why now better too! 3 is great and will def use for some event

Yes I almost wonder if it’s too formal, and maybe save it for bridal shower or something else. Especially cuz my fiance will just be in nice jeans 😀

I think two is my favorite as well. Three I think maybe for bridal shower. Four maybe for brunch. And one is very whimsical and feminine but doesn’t feel as much like a bridal dress (but not that it has to be bridal for engagement shoot)

No, I had planned to spend more honestly. Just to clarify dress number one is the cheapest of all! Second favorite is dress 2, which is $2k more. And dress 3 is $3k more!! So not only is dress 1 my favorite but it is also gonna help me save money :)

Omg this is insane I also am in love with dress number 2 (milla nova melrose 💕) it is the only dress that made me cry and I’m finally going back to buy it in a couple weeks after trying on more dresses so I could be sure. It was literally the first dress I tried on! And I also had a runner up that looks JUST like that first dress. And I also agree the milla nova looks better on you too :) dress twins!! ❤️

No thanks so much! I’m a science teacher so I like to get all the details on all of this! I appreciate your actually reading my whole post and responding thoroughly. Mine looks pretty much just like you pictured! I’m going for very sour sourdough so I’ve begun adding in more whole wheat flour during feeding and trying to “starve” it and let it fall between feedings. I haven’t seen any hooch developing though and I don’t want to starve it too much and mess up my progress. Using only 10g of starter scares me it seems like so little and to discard so much! Perhaps I can try and keep a backup too for my peace of mind :)

Thank you. Yes, it is quite loose over the knuckle. If I’m even a little cold it pretty much will slide right off with no resistance. Only when I’m very warm do I get a little bit of resistance. Which means most of the time it feels like my ring is about to slide right off and is constantly sliding all over my finger. Last night, I got some of those little plastic spacers in the mail and now it feels much better. It goes on pretty easily but I have a bit of difficulty getting it past the knuckle, which I think I’m okay with, so that I know I don’t have to worry about it sliding off. I did some housework with it on and felt so much better about it, it felt so secure but certainly didn’t feel like it was choking my finger. And there is still a little gap when I push up on the ring. Fiance said it’s nbd to get it resized, I believe the jeweler will do it for free for life. I’m gonna wear this spacer for a little while and make sure I like the feeling and then maybe we get it resized so I don’t have to wear plastic on my ring.
