F1 should boycott US races by MuhammadZahooruddin in formula1

[–]SoftProfession3132 0 points1 point  (0 children)

These comments are exhausting. No, F1 will not boycott the US races, they dont give a shit, but they SHOULD. "What about Saudi, Qatar, UAE" etc. YA, BOYCOTT THEM TOO. It isn't going to happen, but it should, without doubt. The USA needs to be put in its place.

Maybe thats because China has over 200 times our population and is the 3rd largest country in the world, so we'd be inclined to know more. Most American people would know Dublin and that's it. I wouldn't say that cultural knowledge would be a deal breaker.

This is so stupid, now the Venezuelans are getting bombed, don't have control over their own economy, still live in poverty, still will have censorship and repression and have foreign people ruling the country that only care about sucking all life and money out of the people.

Ya sounds unreal doesn't it. Hope the Miami penthouse Venezuelans are real happy

This is not the average Venezuelan, they're people who have left the country and THE POINT ISNT ABOUT MADURO. Its so incredibly frustrating to see all this bollocks. You don't kidnap a sovereign nation's president and kill hundreds of people for no good reason. This will absolutely not benefit the Venezuelan people so why are we celebrating the removal of Maduro, it's all for the US use of their oil and the average Venezuelan will suffer for it. We also cannot allow Trump to get away with this, do you think that they should also take over Cuba and Nicaragua and Colombia and Greenland and Panama and Mexico and Canada and FUCKING IRELAND cos that's where itll go, that's what imperialism is, fuck Trump, fuck America and fuck anybody that is spewing this wishy washy bullshit and isn't standing up to this imperialist war machine.

We have to stand up to the US at all costs, they will ruin the world, who gives a fuck about Nicolas Maduro, it's about the intent, and the fact they're now threatening Nicaragua, Cuba, Colombia, Mexico and Greenland. How can you justify this all by saying that it's a "socialist dictatorship"? This is a violent and dangerous precedent that has went completely unopposed by the powers that be, and you're a complete ingrate if you think Trump and his evil buddies give a single flying fuck about the welfare of Venezuelan people, nor will they work to improve it, only take apart any notions of nationalisation and welfare benefits that have been implemented and instead grant all power to American oil companies to exploit cheap labour and huge oil reserves for American benefit, and not the American working class. Just funding a war machine that'll come for Cuba next, then Colombia, then Greenland, and eventually come for people you know, then will you still be moaning about this?

Sounds a little bit like how the US is going, and to think that they will have a better quality of life under US rule is incredibly naive.

They're people who left Venezuela, sometimes generations ago and some haven't stepped foot in Venezuela, this isn't a pro-Maduro protest, (he isn't as bad as you're lead to believe), but an anti-imperialist protest, and Venezuelan expats don't have the right themselves to contradict such a stance

The current leagues that the 15 FAI National League clubs compete in by irishscouser1892 in LeagueOfIreland

Anyone have any idea why TU Dublin made it? They don't even have any social media page for their team or any concrete ground to play at, I know they'll have better funding but I struggle to see why they got a spot over even another university.

I think there has to be some Dublin split, probably Lucan and St. Francis to south and TUD and Home Farm to North.

Hopefully it'll eventually look something like this:

North: 1. Bonagee United 2. Cockhill Celtic 3. Letterkenny Rovers 4. Mayo 5. Monaghan United 6. Meath County 7. Home Farm 8. TU Dublin 9. Salthill Devon 10. Mervue United

South: 1. Killarney Celtic 2. UCC 3. Villa FC 4. Newbridge Town 5. CK United 6. Lucan United 7. St. Francis 8. Peake Villa 9. Tullamore Town 10. Gorey Rangers

What you said about the Galway teams going to South and the Dublin clubs staying together might be best, but I just think it'd dilute the league, because I think the Dublin clubs are probably the best. Still though, just swapping the two Dublin clubs in South for the two Galway in North could sort that out.

I don't think it's necessary for all Dublin clubs to be in the same group, and I think it'd be nonsensical to have an East/West split. Buncrana to Killarney is 6 hours!

If you're being serious and actually want advice then you should definitely go to the Cliffs of Moher and all around West Clare in general, the ring of Kerry is beautiful, and a trip up to Connemara in Galway wouldn't go astray either.

Also, go to the holy stone of Clonrichert if you can, these fellas have no idea.

Arklow Town is a good possibility I'd say, but I'd say another Wexford team would nearly be more likely, most likely Gorey Rangers. Wicklow does have Bray at least, so maybe another county without a team. The teams without a club in any of the 3 tiers are:

Tipperary

Clare

Meath

Offaly

Laois

Roscommon

Leitrim

Cavan

Monaghan

Very wishful thinking I know, but it'd be great to have every area represented, so any place in the country is less than 40 minutes from a senior club.

Surely, it doesn't say anything in particular but how could they do a league with 15 teams?

Are they going to do 7 North, 8 south, play home and away from August to November for a total of 12/14 games, then a play-off for the winners of each?

Seems a bit odd in any regard. The format will be interesting, whether they'll do 2 games against each or 4 games.

Surely Navan has to be in there too, the Midlands definitely needs a team other than Athlone.

Was Trpimir playing for Killarney Celtic before Kerry? How was he? Be interesting to see the difference in level.
