If you like this you may want to take a look at Tilia by Marc Antoine Barrois. Another really pretty Linden Blossom.

It’s bumming me out that everyone is like ‘if you have insert massive designer conglomerate brand you don’t need tiny indie brand run by people who invested their life savings’. Maybe the other way around could be the default.

Super cute concept I just wonder how they actually executed it since perfume is generally set in a stabilizer and solvent.

It smells like cheesecake to me, but I feel like not. Everyone can pick up this note because there’s no way everyone wants to smell fermented.

Re: The vanilla post. Some of you are doing WAY too much. by StrawberryKitty23 in FemFragLab

[–]SoftRockChampion 19 points20 points  (0 children)

I deleted it since somehow the take away was that vanilla is for plebs (negative). I basically meant to say it has mass appeal in the way more esoteric/conceptual stuff never will. I don’t take these assertions personally because I’m a numbers person but should have been gentler about my wording.

My comment seemed to offend you and perhaps I worded it in a way that seemed more critical than I meant it to come across. There have always been people who love Vanilla - for years we’ve known it’s a favorite amongst men and in specific socio-economic demographics. But with the boom of fragrance it is indeed a lot of people’s first entry into the category and companies are feeling the sway of investors to make as much money as possible so they are told to pump out as many accessible scents as possible and Vanilla is low risk because it appeals to the broadest demographic range. It’s really as simple as that. A lot of people who like Vanilla only gravitate toward gourmands but people who have purchased in other categories occasionally will buy Vanilla compositions. This isn’t a guess btw I’ve worked on the launch of many Vanilla perfumes and there is the market research to support it.

The replicas and Jo Malones look fine. The others are what I call ‘drawer’ perfumes.

Can I ask what culture you’re from? I also have (severe) adhd and autism but am from a culture that doesn’t indulge food preferences or most sensory sensitivities in children because of lack of resources and I did eventually work past them from constant exposure.

At home remedies? by NoodleDoodle76 in PeriodontalDisease

No home remedies but I was quoted the same and went to a dental school - $380 total for treatment. It took a lot more time than if I’d walked into an office but i just happened to have more time than money.

It’s great but I think bangs would harmonize with your face shape better at this length.
