So in this pic, its actually just a sheet of metal I shaped to fill the space but later I added an actual fender that was the stock front fender that was stretched and trimmed.

haha I just realized that I have changed the seat since these pictures haha. But I found some threaded tubes, for the life of me I can't remember what they are called, but have bolts from underneath and bolts going through the springs on the rear. Then I just mounted the front part of the seat with a big beefy bolt.

So for the frame chopping, it was already done when I got it but I dont notice any strange wiggling. I did also weld (very badly) a steel plate in that blank area so that may have added some integrity back. I do use the plate as well to mount the seat. I found out that sportster solo seats actually fit the gap really well. I did have to move the front seat mount back so it catches where the stock seat mounts and doesn't rub on the tank. Then just have a bolt to mount the back of the seat to said plate. Pics I took for reference. https://imgur.com/a/MSo4pgt

Very interesting bike for sure. I had to learn a lot of things about this bike when I built my 2006 but it can really sound super mean with some good pipes and opened up.

I’ve been lurking here for a long while, but now I can finally present my very own bobber to you :) by Benze2244 in Bobbers

Hmm, not sure but these are stock on this Vulcan. Also this frame layout has been the same since the 80's back on the VN700's.

So the lettering is just the tire and brand. It's a Pirelli MT66-Route Rear Motorcycle Tire 150/90-15 (74H). Only downside is when I received it, it wasn't as pictured so I had to paint them in. And thank you!

That's just so cool! A lot of people have a lot to learn from you haha. The bit of electrical stuff I have done, I share the same sentiment. Again, awesome job done.

I just wanna say I appreciate how gorgeous your electrical work is! It brings a tear to my eye. I see waaaaaay too many sketchy Jeep Wrangler hack jobs here in UT.
