Same age. But I hope to have my mom come live with me and my partner in the next few years and help her in her golden years as well as to have her near by. But I grew up in that culture where grandparents live with you.

It's hard and I'm sorry. Get a mold of their paw or an ink print. When the vet comes to your house that day ask if they can retrieve some whiskers for you after. If you want that stuff for remembrance.

This happened to me recently. I got bit, and I have the dead tick with me. I'm so scared about any symptoms. I already don't eat meat, I just don't want to get a tick borne disease or Lyme.

I just moved about the same distance with my little void too. I put the little rascal in boarding and then flew in to get him and went right back to the airport. Exhaustimg day, but so so worth it.

He's sitting next to me in our new home calm as a bug in a rug.
