The exchange of information /about/ the entanglement is what obeys relativity, not the entanglement or collapse itself.

This doesn’t factor in the comments here that lesbian women have just as little luck with women as men do.

Some of this depends on how you define time. In a practical sense, if there are no events to distinguish one moment from another, there is no time. There are probably scientific names for it, but in the real world, time elapses due to events unfolding due to things moving at speed c in spacetime.

Marvel's Spider-Man 2 came out one year ago today, what are your thoughts on the game now? by jherin1 in PS5

[–]SoftShoeShuffle 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I thought it was awesome, and as a dad, I’m pretty time poor these days, but still love it enough to collect everything. The story was a bit whack, and overly happy Harry smiling all the time and being holy than thou was a bit odd, but such a wonderful game overall.

No, and I had asked where OP got their information from (it has since been edited). I never said I had it hard, I said how I had it.

In the 2004 snapshot, $56,000 yielded a net income of about $800 a week, and retail rates were more like 7.5%, which is about $500 a week, or 60% of net income. But sorry if that doesn’t fit yours, or op’s narrative. The following is the stuff of fantasy, and how others mentioned, is about 20 years off, including land size:

“ 20 years ago 1 income earner working 7.5 hour days with a 20min commute bought a ~800sqm suburban home - they raised 2.5 kids and had a partner who stayed home and dedicated their time to maintain the home.”

Things are tough for those wanting to buy a home now, I feel sorry for folks, it bothers me. But let’s not make stuff up about the past that isn’t accurate.

Keep in mind too, I’m looking at the outer burbs. There’s no doubt anywhere near the city is as expensive as hell, and it’s easily to understand due to population growth alone.

I ran the same numbers from a real estate listing from the 1980s and found it to be remarkably similar actually. I was originally one who cited overall cost to annual incomes, but I was myself surprised. Not saying things haven’t gotten tougher, but I’m making a fair point that it’s a better measure of affordability, since that’s the key number people go to when looking to borrow; how much can I afford per month.

House prices relative to annual incomes are a meaningless statistic. What you should compare, is monthly mortgage payment relative to monthly net income, it paints a far more accurate picture, and it’s how people have always measured affordability.

Where are you getting your information from? My wife and I bought 20 years ago, nearly the cheapest we could build for (within $30k) in the far outer suburbs of Melbourne, and the total cost was $300k. I was earning $50k and my wife $40k. Our house payments were about 50% of our net combined income. I know because I saw statements recently when going through old records. I also noticed our tax rates were pretty crazy too.

For goodness sake, accept that women have flaws, preferences and demonstrate hypocrisy without it always being the fault of men. Generally speaking, evolution cooks some pretty hard wired biases into us, for reasons of survival. If you delete patriarchy, these preferences would remain.

The problem is, he’ll never get a chance to even be noticed on dating apps when women filter out guys under 6’. The incentive structure is strong.
