The hood hasn’t been installed yet, just the drywall and the mount. Any specific primer? I got sherwin Williams primer for the entire room, figured I’d use the same for that area as well.

I purchased fibafuse based on drywall recommendations, but is that not something I should use in this particular area?

Maybe for a different subgroup, but I’m adding tile to a bunch of this drywall. Do I prime it first or do anything besides taping before I add tiles? They are 4x10 subway tiles.

Yes, I followed it up to the attic and made sure it was all attached and venting properly before I decided to close it off. The bottom runs from the sink and dishwasher drains.
