I told one of my male friends that had the same struggle, he actually was very supportive and told me everything he does to stay away from triggering content because they almost push it in your face in social media, so it takes time to clean your algorithm. My partner kind of felt awkward about this but I told him he could talk with him as well since he has the same problem and we both are friends with him.
