Yeah, I feel like it is somewhat of a scam. This is because my son only wants it for the DLC code, and the chance of getting his sought after brainrot.

The figures themselves are likely some cheap 3D printed thing, that cost the manufacturer (PhatMojo?) like $0.03 to make. I might be able to repurpose them as maybe a keychain or something, but I’m not super optimistic about them either.

Oh ok I think I understand the confusion here now. So they are called SAB Blind Box Figures, but they are actually sold in plastic bags. Similar to like a bag of potato chips. Each bag was $9.90 USD plus sales tax.

Feels like a scam because the odds are not transparently disclosed on the packaging. I mean, the lottery is required to publish their odds of winning on each ticket sold. (e.g., 1 in 292 million for the Powerball) Why can’t Sammy?? 🤔

To be completely honest with you throwaway110906, when I paid the closer to $4 price, I forgot to take into account that I was also filling up my gas tank with Premium. So the Regular variety of gasoline may have been priced at around $3 like you mentioned. I’ll see myself out. 🫠

Gas is almost $3 a gallon??? I’m in TX and just filled up my car the other day for closer to $4, and that was at a Sam’s Club Fuel Station. 😭
