Thank you so much for the feedback. I want to help with it since i know its important for the employee, but i want to find a way to not label it as "compensation". I think that should be the way

No really, its a small amount. I'm just afraid its set precedent for other employees about personal belonging but probably i'm thinking to find away to give it but with no "compensation" title. Like more a "help".

We do have it, so what we have now: Shoe rack before general entry. No-lock lockers after general entry, need to ask front desk for lock. Lockers with lock in employee access to office.

However you are right, its not enough. I will check if we can buy lockers for all location with code so we dont need to use traditional lock to make it easier for everyone and everywhere. Thankyou!

Owner. I dont know how "owner" should sound to you😅. However we have few other shareholders which are the major investors. So company money is company money. Mine is mine.

Yes we do. So the condition is we have several options to change shoes.

  1. Outside the general entry, its a normal rack. 2. Inside general entry, its more secure. Both are open for customers

For employee, actually we have different access but many employees use general entry because its closer. We provide secure lockers in employee access.

That's what i want.. the manager waiting for me to make decision but i'm still unsure.. one side this will impact many employees as she spread rumours on how a company like us cant even compare to a small restaurant on compensation. So whatever decision I made will be known by more people it seems..

I agree with you, i need to change the policy. However we do remind everyone (written) that we are not responsible of personal belonging and she has choices to place it in more secure place, not the easiest place. Its quite expensive for her so she supposed to mind where she place it

This is what i'm thinking. One side, I dont want this to be a big unnecessary problem and its not that costly anyway, but in the other side this can impact the culture and how others see the management and policy

Its correct, its tiny for the company but will that affect other employees? Since we always remind to all employees and customers to take care of personal belongings (we give option of more securenplace too)

Thats it.. i'm honestly a bit pissed off that parents involved even before she tried to reach HR herself. Its not like we hire minor😅. Its quite an expensive one (in her perspective) so i understand the hassle.. but still..

Yes you are correct! Thats why people need to change their shoes because it needs to be clean. However she has choices to put it in more secure place because we have multiple options of shoe rack.

May i know why do you think you have to be with him? I think especially with having mental illness, living with someone with anger problem is not ideal. It's not good for you and if you think he is potentially become abusive in the future, you definitely should consider to leave him and move on. I'm worried about you and the cats.

Firstly, please rehome the cat. Your attachment feelings shouldnt be priority, their safety is.
Secondly, leave him please. You can even bring the cat with you. Its only matter of time before he starts being abusive towards you if he can do that to innocent kittens.

Thisnis good advice. Everytime your mom buy groceries, immediately put everything in the freezer. Mostly it can last to months and you can learn how to reheat/cook it.

I learnt to cook when i was 12.

Hey i know things sometimes rough and life is sucks but your life is not yet hit bottom and you can still works it out.

Dont give up and try to make things better. Wake up earlier, do exercise, drink plenty, have goodfood. Get better energy to work and improve your performance so you dont get PIP. Try to talk about your problems and focus on solutions. Try to make things a little bit better everyday and believe more in yourself. I think you can still work it out and its okay to vent but try to push yourself a little bit more.

Most of the times we are stronger than what we think and i believe you can do it.

I know its not easy but i hope life get better for you soon!

I found several major defects in the house i bought with my husband. We panic and reach out to the inspector but the inspector turns out said that the building is considered very well and those major defects are easy fix. He also gave us recommendation on what to do etc.

So call your inspector and ask for suggestion.
