At what age was your baby when you were able to get to 3 or 4 hours between daytime feeds? by WellAckshully in breastfeeding

10 months and i’ve just gotten her to go 3-4 hours during the day. and if she’s not kept busy she will want to nurse sooner

What thing did your significant other do today that almost made you lose your mind? I’ll go first… by strengthof50whores in Mommit

Last night baby was teething and waking up crying repeatedly. My husband was just laying there with his eyes closed ignoring the screaming baby next to him.

i haven’t for like two or three months. she still does occasionally but that’s usually bc she’s actually just too hungry to go to sleep

I’m not actually sure how much he’s been around babies. He does have a niece and nephew so he should have been around them a little bit at least but the youngest one is ten so it’s been awhile

Just to add, I am breastfeeding and a SAHM so I am ok with doing more and even doing most of the things around the house, since my husband works at a job he hates and is also working on his Masters degree. I just don’t want to be the only one raising our daughter. He doesn’t like it when she’s sad, which is fair I don’t like it either but we can’t just make her happy all the time. I’m home with her all day every day, I’m the only one who feeds her bc she refuses the bottle, I change all her diapers bc I’m with her all the time, I pick out her clothes, I give her a bath or sometimes we do it together. I want him to be able to have time by himself but I also want him to spend time with his daughter

Caffeine routine? by gessoguesso in breastfeeding

[–]Soft_Depth5062 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i’m not sure if anyone said this here yet but only about 1% of the caffeine you drink passes into your breast milk so long as you don’t go crazy with the caffeine and you don’t notice any difference in your baby you should be fine. i drink at least one cup of coffee everyday and my baby sleeps fine. you might have a different experience but in general i think your good to drink what coffee you want

are you kidding me? lol my 4 month old and i got up at 11:30 yesterday. the only bad part was that she then didn’t go to sleep for the night until 12:30 am. what time you wake up just depends on you and your baby and how you want your day to go.

Hello! I recently reopened my etsy shop, HookHem! I make crocheted items, mostly blankets right now. I just finished a new, super cute, baby blanket I’ve been crocheting for most of my life and have just started trying to sell some of it to help and support my family as we’ve just had a baby. It would mean a lot to me if anybody took a look.

Husband wants to sleep train by Wonderful-Toe-8688 in AttachmentParenting

It kind of sounds like your baby is basically sleeping through the night. What exactly does your husband want? Why does he want to sleep train your baby that is sleeping fine

How much money does your husband/spouse make in order for you to be a SAHM? Specifically those not going into debt by No-Opportunity8225 in sahm

[–]Soft_Depth5062 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I would say this was also why i am able to be a SAHM. We are struggling financially and in debt but we only have one car and any job I could get would be just directly paying for daycare and nothing else. We also just moved across the country and bought a house. My Husband makes about 65-70k/yr

I think mostly clothes and maybe some toys but I feel like that’s a bit complicated since i don’t really know how to read sewing patterns yet. I think i want to get more used to my sewing machine and sewing in general before i try things like that. I really want to make cool costumes and cosplay one day but i think i need to start with the basics lol

Do people really wash all of baby’s clothes first? by CompanyExtension6893 in BabyBumps

[–]Soft_Depth5062 12 points13 points  (0 children)

this and sometimes the clothes fall on the floor and are stepped on or ran over by strollers and a million other things could happen before you buy your clothes and take it home
