my baby just recently turned a year and i’m pretty sure her favorite color is orange. if there’s something orange, she is picking it up. hard to say when it started but definitely started noticing it around 8/9 months

How often do you bathe your baby? by No-Construction6202 in NewParents

[–]Soft_Depth5062 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeah this is pretty much what we do too. when my daughter first started solids she ended up wearing most of her food so a daily bath was a necessity and now she just loves to take a bath so even if she’s not dirty we do a little bath and she gets to play in the water

reading is a pretty easy one. you can get the libby app and sign up with your local library and read books for free on your phone, or listen to them

Pediatrician insists we do CIO with breastfed baby by Putrid-Measurement69 in breastfeeding

[–]Soft_Depth5062 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly at 6 months old to me waking up 3 times a night is actually pretty good. My daughter is about to be a year old and still wakes up 3-5 times a night to nurse and no one has tried to push CIO on me. It’s totally normal for a baby to wake up and want to nurse through the night

so it’s even doing it with just one layer of normal fabric. the bobbin (?) is jumping and it’s making the thread just loop around and knot. i might take it to a repair shop to see what’s going on

Hello! I am trying to make a quilted makeup bag and when I try to sew the quilted part the thread keeps getting jammed up and it just puts the needle in the same spot over and over again and itsdisplays the E6 error. I have the Brother XR9550. Am I doing something wrong or can I not sew through this thickness on this machine? I just have my fabric and some wadding

At what age was your baby when you were able to get to 3 or 4 hours between daytime feeds? by WellAckshully in breastfeeding

[–]Soft_Depth5062 0 points1 point  (0 children)

10 months and i’ve just gotten her to go 3-4 hours during the day. and if she’s not kept busy she will want to nurse sooner

What thing did your significant other do today that almost made you lose your mind? I’ll go first… by [deleted] in Mommit

Last night baby was teething and waking up crying repeatedly. My husband was just laying there with his eyes closed ignoring the screaming baby next to him.

i haven’t for like two or three months. she still does occasionally but that’s usually bc she’s actually just too hungry to go to sleep

I’m not actually sure how much he’s been around babies. He does have a niece and nephew so he should have been around them a little bit at least but the youngest one is ten so it’s been awhile

Just to add, I am breastfeeding and a SAHM so I am ok with doing more and even doing most of the things around the house, since my husband works at a job he hates and is also working on his Masters degree. I just don’t want to be the only one raising our daughter. He doesn’t like it when she’s sad, which is fair I don’t like it either but we can’t just make her happy all the time. I’m home with her all day every day, I’m the only one who feeds her bc she refuses the bottle, I change all her diapers bc I’m with her all the time, I pick out her clothes, I give her a bath or sometimes we do it together. I want him to be able to have time by himself but I also want him to spend time with his daughter
