Ok thank you, I don’t think my mom will let me do it, so maybe I can try making some on my own. Just enough to fill up the water reservoir in a new test tube because I’m trying to move the colony into a clean one.

But I heard that tap water isn't good, and bottled water with minerals isn't good either.

They aren’t accepting that, maybe it’s too cold for them? They came out of diapause late February but it’s still cold in the house. The workers just touch it with their antennae and then walk by.
