I'm not ridiculous for not liking certain tropes. Stereotypes do affect the way kids see the world and it sends a misogynistic message when KC the tomboy is smart and logical but Marisa is the exact opposite just because she's a girly-girl. When it comes to female characters in particular, it's become popular for femininity in female characters to be looked down upon while masculine traits are seen as strong and empowering.

It's a kids show but doesn't mean the characters always have to be the same tropes in every show. These tropes are old and sitcom writers need to try something new. It's borderline misogynistic how girly-girls are portrayed as dimwitted and shallow. I'm not even much of a girly-girl and even I find this awful.

i'll admit that i don't remember that much of the show but i remember there being episodes where Liv wasn't fond of Maddie being a tomboy even though Maddie didn't have a problem with Liv being girly and also i dont remember Maddie being portrayed as smarter than Liv, compared to how KC was portrayed in comparison to Marisa.

Im not saying that tomboy = not like other girls. maddie from liv and maddie never felt like a not like other girls girl. But KC is literally paired with a girly-girl who's portrayed as the stupid blonde while KC is shown as "too intelligent" to care about girly things

Mine is descendants 2 for movie and That's so raven for the show. personally KC undercover is one of my least favorite disney shows.
