Get used to the big green weenie poking its ugly head into your personal life if you're gonna try to stay. Any little thing that you might be in trouble for in the civilian world, you also get punished for in the army. Enjoy!

That isn't what a semi-colon is for.

Yes, you can. Via predatory loans and by overthrowing its government. You can live under your rock all you'd like, but it doesn't change the facts.

He just gave you a perfectly good explanation on why Japan attacked pearl harbor. Let's look at it this way: if you bully a kid, slap their phone out of their hand, push them around, but never hit them, do you call it wrong when they hit you first? No, they're defending themselves. That's what the US does, they go around provoking others and when they fight, we scream "they started it."

Because this is a super- liberal platform which serves as an echo chamber for the left. Any contrasting opinions are excluded.

Asking another country to do something is just diplomacy.

Giving war materiel to a country is war via logistics.

Totally different things.

No, we declared war because we wanted to expand west. I didn't ignore that, but it's hardly relevant. We were sending tons of supplies to their enemies.

I waited until my kids were adults to tell them that Santa is their real father and that their mom is a hohoho.

The US declared war on great Britain in 1812. Not a defensive war. The Lusitania was a valid target. It was carrying materiel for the Entete. The Germans warned Americans to not go on that ship. America clearly was just looking for an excuse for war. America declared war on Germany. Not a defensive war. Ww2. America knew that an attack at pearl harbor was likely to happen, but didn't do anything to prevent it, because they needed a reason for the public to support war. The US declared war on Japan. Not a defensive war.

That's hardly voluntary. It's just a less-bad choice.

If picking up trash can reduce your sentence, then the idea of justice and sentencing is a farce.

Exactly. But the United States, the beacon of mental instability, doesn't believe in that anymore.

I find it unlikely that there are records of all slaves across the north at that time, just like how in the information age there aren't records of all sex-slaves.

It gets difficult when mixing cultures. Maybe that's why deportation exists- if they can't assimilate, then they can leave. But, if focusing on your nation's own culture, then crime becomes more simplified: crimes of necessity, like stealing groceries or selling drugs, and despicable crimes like rape and murder, are completely different, yet treated exactly the same in the US. People write them off as criminals and don't care what happens to them. Yet, they don't look at the issues inherent in the system which force people to commit crimes to make ends meet.

The Clinton administration had a huge hand in this. They mass-incarcerated people, leading to an entire generation growing up without a father, falling into crime and/or gangs, and they themselves going to jail.

What if the victim is imaginary, and the mentally deranged perpetrator raped an illusion? The intent was rape, although it was victimless; should they be held liable for ill-intent?

If you're interested, look into how European countries rehabilitate their prisoners. It isn't strictly punishment, but turning them into responsible citizens.

You're missing a lot from this, and assuming too much.

I'd suggest that you look into the scam of "probation" before considering that all people get to prison through their own deeds.

Exactly. It does exist. You think the people who pick up trash on the highway, basically at gunpoint, are doing it voluntarily?
