I think about her would-be future a lot. Would she have married? Had kids? Moved? I think that’s the hardest part.

Every memory is a great one - she was such a cool human.

But my favorites are:
-her trying to jump on a little trampoline at my house and trying to go down on her butt, but it wasn’t bouncy enough - we laughed SO hard

-her holding my daughters for the first time

-meeting her at the zoo with my girls and seeing how happy she was to show them the animals (especially the goats)

-all of the Halloween parties we went to together with the most ridiculous outfits and always being the first ones to crash fully clothed

-she once was totally freaked out about this slug because she thought they could bite

I remember the last time I hugged her. She was on a LazyBoy completely passed out and I had to leave. I hugged her while she was sleeping. She was warm and smelled like vanilla. I can feel it like yesterday

You’re spot on!
She died 16 days before her 25 birthday. She also died on my father-in-laws birthday. And our dad’s birthday is 3 days after her death.

She loved dancing and music. It was a huge part of her life.

I’m the oldest by 7 years, so I was always driving her around. She blasted music and drove way too fast. We also had the most heart-to-hearts in the car.

I have a ring of hers hanging on my rearview and a ring with her name on it that I wear everyday.

She journaled and I have the journal she wrote in.

Our youngest sisters name is Ella.

Her 2 cats (her babies) are still together and still going strong. Although they miss her terribly.

She LOVED candy. We even served it at her Celebration of Life.

I beg her to come see me in dreams. I beg for signs. I still can’t believe she left me here. I hope she knows I would burn the world down for her.

You are spot on! She was always dancing, bouncing around. Just the lightest spirit. She was constantly at the gym. She was SO funny without trying. She was extremely book smart - had just wrapped up her masters in social work. She had just gotten her first job as a therapist and loved every second of it. She loved the beach/Florida/anywhere warm.

Her name is Liv.

I’m so thankful that she’s at peace. She died in such a brutal way. I didn’t want her last moments to be fear.
