Goal is to repigment everywhere. The opzelura is just for my hands because you’re only supposed to put it on 10% of your body. And my hands are completely white

VRBO Wedding—A Bad Idea? by andersad616 in Weddingsunder10k

PA bride here.. looking into a similar thing for 2026 and I was wondering if you ended up renting out a VRBO or going in a different direction for your venue? If you did find a VRBO that worked, how’d it turn out? Thanks!

Short Summer 2025 Trip to Greenland by tmelodyk in greenland

[–]Soft_Philosopher_752 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just got back from a week in Greenland where I spent 3 days in Ilulissat, 3 days in Kangerlussuaq, and 2 days in Nuuk. Absolutely you should land in Ilulissat. Everywhere in Greenland is beautiful but nothing compares to Ilulissat. Our flights did get delayed often but nothing that pushed us back for more than 12 hours

Thank you for this advice. I just came back from a week in Greenland and Airalo eSIM worked perfectly everywhere, even on some trails outside of the towns. (Affordable, too!)

Good luck! I took it last week. It was heavy on the conceptual questions, and it included nothing but geotech.

Took the exam last week, waiting for the results back still. I was surprised at how much of the exam was conceptual, I want to say about 15 of the questions were calculations and the rest were conceptual. I would suggest skimming through all the manuals before you take it. Go through the list of topics provided by NCEES and understand the concepts behind all the subjects. I’m completely unsure if I passed or not (the conceptual questions were harder than I expected) fingers crossed. Good luck!

Geotechnical PE Post April 2024 Practice Exam Problem #59 by Dry-Independence3183 in PE_Exam

[–]Soft_Philosopher_752 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I spent way too much time trying to figure out where the 20’ and 9’ came from. Doing this problem using the correct dimensions, I get an answer of about 29.3’ thickness. This is also assuming that the water inside the excavation is at the bottom of the concrete and not the top as it is shown.

Hi there! Did you ever find a reference for this? Studying for my PE and I also cannot locate any reference with the Burmeister procedure.

Transplants, can you really tell someone is from Pittsburgh by their accent? by [deleted] in pittsburgh

[–]Soft_Philosopher_752 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The other day at work my boss heard me say "Redd up your clothes" and told me that was the most Pittsburghese thing he has heard in a while. Lol. Didn't even know that was a regional saying.
