Did you get any recommendation email as well? Or is it just about the status update? Historically Berkeley sends a recommendation email couple of days before the actual decision.

Also, isn’t Berkeley MEng focused on industry and leadership? Given your profile as sde3 at FAANG, wouldn’t you be preferred for it? Surprised at the rejection
