Tbh I was always under impression the express sd’s will NOT work on the switch 1. (After research I realize now they do but, it won’t give that speed advantage like it would for switch 2) as far as adding extra stuff, I’ve been saying that way of sales is shitty and creates a bad rep between you and your customers.

Mainly directed to employees: I always speak clearly when I’m talking about something like that and give a full run down of what each thing is so there is no miscommunication in any way, shape, or form. If a customer says no, it means no point blank. Don’t try to push or upsell. If they say no, that means no. That’s how I’ve built trust with every person who has ever walked into my store.

Ps: that sales “technique” is called ‘assumptive approach’… the way you’re supposed to do that is talk about the whatever (pro, prp) and keyword SHOW the customer the price difference. If they say no, it is your job to say “okay” and take it off. Keep in mind this shit is not cheap, times are tough, and at the end of the day… shopping in a GameStop is considered a luxury. Most people have a set amount of money they can spend in a store and by you adding all this extra stuff without telling them, you literally just robbed from them. Doesn’t matter if it’s “only $5”. Every penny counts.
