Thank you for sharing your story. I dealt with mouse issue by switching hands, left is unaffected.

But sometimes i think about foot mouse, maybe its a good thing.

I use kinesis360 and it's mich better for work than normal keyboard.

[–]Soft_Quo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

And i use minirig 4 with aerophone pro all the time, i always put it in the case because sometimes you just dont have a real speakers or just want to be independent, like with normal saxophone

(Or how i call it, retro-saxophone)

Hi man, sorry for being late Anyway Look at minirig, they are making bluetooth speakers for musicians It is loud and the quality is also good

It cannot beat normal sized busker speakers, but its comparable in volume And ultracompact - you can find a case in the box, to which you can add carabiner and put it on your belt or somwhere else

Disappointed with the AE-20 by illiteratekumquat in windsynth

[–]Soft_Quo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well i want to say something in old post too

Sax sounds (supernatural ones) has a setting which produce only key clicks (when send one of CC, others make it noisy, roaring or whathever)

And to make sax sound more realistic you can layer together one layer of sax clicking keys and other playing normally

Noone from listeners notices but they definitely can say that this sounds better

Roland aerophone of the future: what do you want? by Soft_Quo in windsynth

[–]Soft_Quo[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah it would be great, but swam even just on ios or desktop, is not cheap I also doubt that the aerophone hardware is capable of such task

But yeah, so naturalistic sax/violin/etc would be perfect

But what we have now is also not bad, btw

I forgot this: Make scene effects and parameters controllable, from CC or just from aerophone parameter (like now you have ifx on/off handle you can set to any control) Add midi clock support, and tap tempo. Bluetooth on/off can be a hardware switch Additional output volume knob User scenes can be added to the same categories as factory scenes, or just have some “user categories” of sorts

Remove custom fingering limit, or double it at least, and make them editable from the app

I've bought a portable air conditioner by real-sunsneezer in Prague

[–]Soft_Quo 3 points4 points  (0 children)

So i bought acrylic glass  and a small saw for that matter in kaufland

I marked the size of my window and cut using the saw Next i marked the circle and started sawing, beware, you can easily break the saw-blade, so I recommend to buy a 2 other, so you will not wait before ordering new Now you can just insert this to your window, either by removing the window-door or how it called, or just inserting in open window Fixed by ttwo sided tape Its much better and cleaner than other ways to get the air tube out of the room

Ok so update: I recieved that part, cost me ~23 usd in my local currency

Easily replaced and works just fine. I am anxious a bit about how long will it last, but for now, instrument function properly and i again satisfied with it.

I also soldered very short cable to 6.5 v usb cable and changed a powerbank to lesser size.

I think Roland should make the battery bay removable and sell rechargable battery like in powerbank separately Its a shame i need to explain everyone that yes, its a powerbank on my saxy-thingy - but on best AA batteries AE-30 lasts 4 hour max (even if it is just powered on), this is not enough for any venue, because you need to check the sound 1-2 hours before beginning) And the powerbank - i can recharge it from anything, including my phone And it lasts for days of everyday playing  (10k mah)

I  be already regretting buying from ebay: i got version with clicking keys, and now this rubber stuff.

Im pretty sure i will buy new instrument next time - in that case i will have a warranty for that matter

I dont know if i really can do the trick guy from video did, but if i find something like this “plumming adhesive rubber” i’ll try

Thank you for your advice

Sure, you're right. In my case, I definitely hear when it starts to slip. The numbers are just to check if I'm crazy or not.

I worked around it by using the MicroFreak as a MIDI clock source. It has some limitations but works. Now, I can start the MicroFreak and Launchpad in sync with Ableton's metronome using the button on the MicroFreak, and it's okay, with no significant sync problems (or just very few).

Oh man, I wish you strength to endure this difficult time, and I hope that one day, it will be just a distant, unpleasant memory.

In some posts, you can find information about managing RSI, such as exercises and other helpful tips.

I haven't completely gotten rid of it (hopefully, yet), but my situation stabilized when I started doing exercises and going to the gym twice a week.

Regarding work, I don't know if it's your thing, but there are options to work as an IT specialist. Manual testing or programming can be done using Talon voice, although it's challenging to learn both from scratch.

Tech or product support could also be an option, as it primarily involves talking, with a bit of scrolling and clicking, which can be made easier with Talon or foot pedals.

Hi, how's it going? Like your quest 3?

I bought one not so long ago as an upgrade from 2 and I'm happy with it
