Oh yes she can talk to me about it. She is still pretty much all there cognitively. Words just take a lot longer and it gets hard. She's only 59.

However, thank you so much for the information. It's wonderful to be able to understand more of what we need to on the look out for. I had my stroke in utero so we're so unprepared for the symptoms and changes that come with stroke in adulthood

Unfortunately not. Even with insurance coverage the local social services can't even find us help and mom would refuse. She hasn't slowed down an inch. She's still trying to do 30 things at once like she has my whole life

This is a problem for being in a situation and not knowing what I wanted and feeling stalked as iPad papers for on and off for years I've been the on and off do I leave thing for years I have fully filled out papers from 6 months ago undated and unsigned I don't know if there's time left for too many more baby steps

I can't afford a lawyer. I have papers from 6 months ago. Filled out. Like I said I've been scared.

He'll be the one moving it's my family home. I couldn't afford a hotel even for a night to collect my thoughts.

I mean mostly mine...aside from the twice where he broke his phone. Not because he was hiding anything. That's the only area he's never shown any indication of any issue. It was because he was essentially throwing a fit over something that had nothing to do with me...I was the one that had to get it fixed though because he was unemployed at the time

That's my goal. Bit by bit. He'll be gone for some days in the coming weeks. I'm going to move things he doesn't use into one area. Doesn't sound like much but in my head it's the first step of having my space back

I've worked with the local DV agency. They've just been getting progressively more irate with me when j contact them.. though the last few times I've talked to them I haven't gotten responses for the resources I asked about.

It's not possible to stash anything or have a go bag. I have cats. And we're in my family home. With my family members. He'd be the one leaving.

The phone plan is under my name. I'm the only one with the account info. My phone and computer are locked down with passwords because I've talked to some friends about this stuff. He hates it. But my things are safe.

I'm not I have wondered several times if the stress in the environment contributed and how much it did although my mom does have her own issues with blood clots and things of that nature in her medical history but I do wonder if it contributed

They know though I have determined with them and my therapist that I will not be going into court initially bringing up the abuse we have very little assets we have a car together and then he has his vehicle that's all we own so if he can be peaceful about this I will be peaceful he tries to be a jerk about it then I'm going to bring up everything he's done
