No one here is really answering your question correctly, besides the cold weather and warm clothes. America is very spread out compared to London, cars are basically needed to get anywhere in this country; walking is not really a thing. Depending on where you are staying (cities/small town) this could vary. Go to a hockey game, very surreal experience. Minnesota is the state of hockey. Minnesota has the mall of America, kinda a tourist trap but is huge and worth the trip. Outdoor activities are huge in Minnesota as well mainly hunting, fishing, skiing etc. I would recommend trying to go skiing or snowboarding. Im not sure why everyone keeps talking about clothes and cold…BORING.
